Brilliant lunch for two this weekend. I really like Forza Wine and after a visit to the National Theatre branch wanted to try the Peckham rooftop. Food was delicious and well presented, service was friendly and the whole experience really nice. If you’re 40+ you might find it a bit loud!! But it’s worth it and I’ll be back.
Getting here was a bit of a trek, but well worth the view at lunch! We started off with cocktails and then moved to wine. I loved the spicy cocktail - refreshing for an end of the summer lunch. Their wines are also on the funky side. Our waiter gave us a fun recommendation for this Spanish wine and we loved it! Food wise, the portions are between tapas and starter sizes (more on the larger side). I really loved the fried cauliflower and their fish. Their chicken was also nicely grilled without being too dry. Of course if you come here, you're coming for the view. Book a table at the espresso bar area (it's the area with the best views of London's skyline).
Incredible food and drinks on the rooftop overlooking London! The frozen picante was sensational and staff were very friendly and attentive - highly recommend!
This is the fantastic restaurant and bar - I've been to both the Peckham and National Theatre sites and would say the food and experience is pretty consistent across both. Delicious small plates, really special setting and views, great drinks menu. The reason I gave 4 instead did 5 stars is because of the pacing. I've visited a few times and at varying times of the day and party sizes and nearly always have felt rushed. Most recently, the first few dishes had come within 5 mins of sitting down, and way before our drinks had even arrived. It made the experience feel as if they wanted us in and out as fast as possible, not the lovely long relaxed boozy family lunch we had in mind. We were done eating way within the hour. I love "the whole menu" option and the quality of the food but I really think the experience could be hugely improved by pacing the service so guests have more time to enjoy a drink, the view, and take time with the food.
Five stars – Best dining experience in London in ages! This was hands down the best dining experience I’ve had in London for a very, very long time. The staff were absolutely lovely—warm, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The vibe is lively and casual, yet the quality of everything is just beyond. Every dish we had was excellent—full of flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. And the wines? Absolutely banging. A perfect selection that pairs so well with the food. Can’t wait to come back—this place is a gem.
